Tuning your piano should take place every 6 months or annually, depending on usage and location.

Changes in temperature, humidity and overall condition will also contribute towards how stable your piano will be.

If your piano has not been tuned for a number of years, raising the pitch is an option. This will depend on age, strings and condition of tuning pins. A pitch raise will involve your piano being tuned more than once during the first visit or  2-3 times within the first 3-6 months.
